Orchid Society of Northern Transvaal (ONT)
The Orchid Society of Northern Transvaal (ONT) was founded in 1968. The Society is based in Pretoria (South Africa) and currently has approximately 100 members, making it one of the largest orchid societies in South Africa. The aim of ONT is to promote the cultivation, hybridisation and conservation of orchids.

North of England Orchid Society
The Society was originally known as the Manchester Orchid Society It was to become The North of England Orchid Society around 1973.
Initially meetings would be held fortnightly in The Coal Exchange Manchester. when enthusiastic members from many parts of England would bring their orchids to be admired and judged.
